vCORE Earns VMware Cloud Native Master Services Competency

vCORE has now achieved five VMware Master Services Competencies and is one of only 7 IT solution providers in the nation with the certifications.

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Sept. 22 2021 – vCORE Technology Partners announced today that it has achieved VMware’s Cloud Native Master Services Competency, a top-level certification that validates vCORE’s deep understanding of Kubernetes administration core concepts and demonstrates the ability to run and manage VMware Modern Application solutions.

vCORE is just the eighth IT solution provider in the U.S. to earn the elite Cloud Native designation, which requires proficiency in networking, security, and application lifecycle management to ensure the continuous delivery of applications on Kubernetes-based platforms, according to VMware.

As Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms increasingly find a prominent role in IT organizations’ strategies, vCORE’s Cloud Platforms & Services team can provide the tools and skillsets to help ensure these deployments are successful, vCORE Cloud Technical Director Brent Piatti said.

“Ultimately the goal is to save yourself time and headache, so you can get to market quicker and increase overall agility,” Piatti said. “We’re helping customers start small and then scale up quickly as they ramp up cloud-native tools within their production environment.”

In addition to advanced technical certifications, VMware partners must provide customer references to show proven, real-world expertise in deployment of the technology to earn a Master Services Competency.

vCORE now holds five VMware Master Services Competencies (MSC) overall and is one of only 7 partners nationwide that have achieved this designation in the following areas:

  • Cloud Native (earned September 2021)
  • Cloud Management & Automation (earned January 2021)
  • VMware Cloud on AWS (earned November 2020)
  • Network Virtualization (earned May 2020)
  • Data Center Virtualization (earned July 2019)

The vCORE team continues to actively pursue additional Master Services Competencies, with plans to soon become only the fourth VMware partner in the country to hold all seven currently-available MSCs. The two additional Master Services Competencies include Digital Workspace and VMware Cloud Foundation.
