Trusted Technology Leader Larry Koch Joins vCORE as Vice President of Sales
Koch brings 33 years of experience and a customer-first mentality to vCORE after a successful career at Dell EMC, including seven years as AVP.
Scottsdale, Ariz. – June. 5, 2019 – Larry Koch, former Dell EMC AVP for the Western U.S., joined vCORE Technology Partners in April as vice president of sales – bringing steady, experienced leadership as the company continues to add clients within existing markets and expand into new geographies.
During a 33-year career in enterprise technology sales, Koch has developed a reputation for creating a positive work culture, treating people the right way and building long-term relationships of trust with clients. His focus on helping others achieve success has earned him tremendous respect throughout the industry.
Decades of experience helping clients
Koch began his career in technology as an account executive in Upstate New York, where he later worked for 14 years as district manager for EMC. He has spent the last seven years in Arizona as Dell EMC’s area vice president for the West.

As vice president of sales, Koch oversees a team of highly-successful account executives who have helped propel vCORE to the list of America’s fastest-growing private companies and numerous industry awards for technical expertise and strong performance.
Founded in 2010, vCORE now serves more than 200 clients with offices across 7 states and Canada and eclipsed $100 million in revenue in 2018.
Koch expects to build on that success, aiming to beat $250 million in revenue within three years, including $50 million in cloud services. He’d like to see the company achieve a more balanced mix of revenue across its technology pillars, which include cloud, modern infrastructure, networking and security.
“Larry has a tremendous network in the IT community in the West, which he will leverage to grow our existing markets and broaden our reach over the next few years,” vCORE CEO Steve Leavitt said. “He cares deeply for people and helping them to be successful. And he has a strong track record of revenue growth.”

Koch’s leadership style fits in well with vCORE’s long-established business model centered on driving value for clients, rather than simply selling technology solutions.

Family comes first
Koch’s immediate family includes his wife, Meghan, and twin daughters, Kennedy and Caelan – who are entering their senior year of high school.
Growing up in Indiana, Koch learned to love team sports and played college basketball at Georgia Southern University. Now he enjoys watching his daughters play tennis and softball.
“I always felt like sports was a great way to prepare for success both in family and work,” Koch said. “There will always be bumps along the way, but if you learn from the experience, you will be better in the long run.”
